Wrangler John,
You are smoking crack. The 6ppc is much more accurate than a 243wssm to 400yds. Yes it shoots 68 grain bullets at only 3250FPS. What ground squirrels would survive a hit. Your wssm may shoot an occasional .250-5 shot group, but will not do it in any consistent manner. Show me a target with 5 bulls on it with 5-5 shot groups.

dwcarsMy Sako Vixen L461 is incredibly accurate. I have 300 rounds of Sako brass, 60 were once-fired and came with the rifle. I very carefully prepped those 60, loaded them with Rem 7-1/2br primers, H-322 powder, and topped with Nosler 70 gr ballistic tips. I haven't done anything to the trigger and these 72 year old eyes can still make a tight cloverleaf at 100 yards. 6MM PPC is the most accurate cartridge I've ever experienced. Gonna try some alternate bullets as well as N133 and IMR 8208 powders.

It is the most accurate [100-200yd] cartridge known at this time. You better check the twist rate. I had a factory 6PPC Sako about 15 years ago and it had 14 twist. 66-68 grain bullets were the largest that it would shoot.

Really interesting! When I bought my L461, it came with 4 boxes of Sako ammunition which Sako chose to load with 70 grain bullets. Careful messaging of once-fired cartridges and reloading with 70 gr Nosler ballistic-tips backed with H-322, I can make a very tight cloverleaf with these 72 year old eyes.
