I am looking for any information on the .17 squirrel, What casing does this orginate from?, speed and simple ballistics.

it is a shorten 17 Ackley hornet

parent case is the 22 Hornet

speed are in low to mid 3000,
I do not see the use in it, the cost and extra case forming does not fit for the case

would not be bad in a 10" pistol or something like that, it is a very neat looking case
