Replacement stock for Rem 788
I have split my factory stock while bedding it! It is in 243. Any one know what companies make "drop in" stocks for these rifles?
Thanks, peter.

My buddy is doing the same thing. Ramline makes one, if you go to Google.com and search on Ramline you will find several distributors. There are also some outlets that have factory take-offs in stock if you want to replace it with a wooden original. If you want the links I found, post a reply to this message and I will send you the links I got for my friend. (I'm at work, I have 'em at home)

cheers, mike

Mike, thanks for the reply. Yes, I would be interested in a factory replacement stock (depending on the price)! I will look for the Ramlines. Do you know if the have the aluminum bedding block?
Peter.

here's the list I found for some original factory stocks:

Also, here's the best deal on Ramlines I've found for $62.95.

If my buddy puts a replacement for his, maybe he will sell you his original stock-nothing wrong with it.

Thanks King! I have already ordered (and received) my Ramline from the outdoorguides place. I just couldn't beat the $62 price!
I just have to take it out and shoot it.
