Daughters First Big Game Rifle!
Talked Kevin Weaver out of this little rifle this morning. I've been eyeing it for awhile on his web page. I have my daughter shooting a cut down .223 Stevens 200 right now, but wanted to get her a rifle she and her future children could use for a long time.

250 Savage (250-3000) built on a BR trured Mini Mauser action with custom bottom metal Pac Nor #1 contour 10T High Tech stock painted tan with black and brown webbing. One of Kevin's personal rifles. $1500.00 without Scope. UPS/FED ex ground shipping to FFL holder included.

Kevin made me a deal I couln't refuse on this little rig and it should be near perfect for my daughter. He told me he opened up the magazine and it will feed 100 grain bullets without any problems, but will not handle anything heavier without using RN bullets. He did say it shot the Hornady 117 RN bullets very well. I'm thinking the 80 grain TTSX will get a go in this rifle as well as the 100 grain Partition.

Oh, and before you give me hell Graybird! When I send the money off to Kevin for this rifle Wade should be getting a check for the hunting trip as well! Might have to steal my daughters rifle to try on the plains of Africa don't you think!

Old age is a high price to pay for maturity!!! Some never pay and some pay and never reap the reward. Wisdom comes with age! Sometimes age comes alone..

IDK, but he said he would shorten it up for her for the price I paid if needed. However, I'd be on my own when she needs it made longer. My daughter is 9 and almost 5'3" tall so I'm hoping she'll be close.

Looks like a beautiful little rifle. Should be great on everything from varmints up to deer sized game.

Looks like a keeper. I've got a similar stock on my 204. I'm sure she'll be using it for years to come.

Good choice- looks like she is happy with it too.

Just too cool. Daughters make great huntin partner and most of them can shoot too! I started mine with a custom Sako 243 I built her and she will be 51 this weekend and is still shooting it. Missed one deer in all these years.

You can borrow money but you can not borrow time. Go hunting with your family.
