Reindeer off roof with .223

Come on now. Did you really believe there was a reindeer on my roof? How old are you? Seriously, just wanted to wish everyone a Merry Christmas.

I'll be out there with mine at 11:59, just in case. Might take the .243 for backup.

No lead core bullets though. Only premiums are good enough in small calibers for reindeer.

Is a reindeer organic eating? If tame it's a reindeer and if wild it's a caribou. I rate caribou as the second most gamey tasting animal I've eaten--second to the antelope(pronghorn). But they do make good sausage or jerky.

DHumbarger---Snow? Isn't that the residue that is created when you ski down a slope? We don't have any slopes here steep enough to ski down so we don't have snow often enough to remember what it is.

Snow? Isn't that that mythical stuff brought on by GLobal Cooling that Al Gore invented? Just remember this analogy stolen from a different thread: "If it's in the air, it's a reindeer. If it's dead on the ground, it's a caribou."

A friend would hang his deer in a tree in his yard that was visible from the road. I tried and tried to get him to paint a tennis ball red and glue it to the nose of one of his kills but the chickenshit wouldn't do it.
