260 Bobcat, 6.5 Panther?

These are on Douglas Barrels chamber list. What are they. Is one a 260 IMP?

I don't know about the bobcat, but i believe that the 6.5 Panther was Jim Carmichaels version of the 260 Remington. - Dan

The Bobcat was also Jim's design. It's the 250 Savage necked up to 6.5.

Dan is OK panther is the Jil version of th e260 Rem with a 0.295 neck

I have 260 Rem with custom reamer made ( tighter base and neck in 0.295 ) that nice caliber but 6.5X ( 260 rem reduce to lenght of the 22.250 case is very nice up to 600 yards for target shooting

I have too a 6.5/08 Ackley IMP ( 40ï¿½ ) shoulder
with a 28 inch PAC NOR barrel which make a funy little cartridge for varmint up to 600 yards
