308SakoNew Sako question
Are the model 75 magazines interchangeable with the model 85 ones?
Specifically the .223 caliber.

StonecreekSince my latest production Sako is an early A-series, I would have no idea, but I'll be glad to repost your question on the Sako Collector's Forum to see if anyone there knows.

LJSI have an 85 and a 75 in 308 and the mags do not interchange. The 85 magazine is thicker than the 75. The 85 magazine must have upward pressure applied in the center when pushing the release lever. Call JB at Accuflite and I'm sure he will give you the lowdown.
