300 RUM V 7mm RUM

Are the 300 Remington Ultra Mag and the 7mm RUM the same case size? If not how much smaller is the 7mm?

The .300 RUM and the 7mm RUM are exactly the same. They are based on the .404 Jeffery. The only difference in the two is neck dia. I have loaded for the 7mm using .300 brass before I could get my hands on 7mm brass. Hope this is what you were after.
