Re: My Sako L579 in 6mm Norma BR (pics)
Is it a single shot or can you feed from the mag? I have a 243 sako that the gun nut part of me wonders about 6mmnorma but I would need it to feed well from the mag.
Hello Peter, looks like im the bastard who stole your nickname

! did find it strange nobody had this nick when i registered here!!
Apart from that,
its a great looking rifle you have there! Hope it shoots as well as it looks!

PeterCBen,
you didn`t steal it

. I just lost it when the Forum was updated. Thought it was a bit sad because I have that nick on several other forums. As long as you like Sako`s its fine with me

!
Anyway, was searching for just the type of rifle you have, but never found one, so I ended up buying a .308 Forester. Got it for a really good price so it turned out ok in the end. Glad you are satisfied. What bullets are you using?
To all of you,
thanks for the comments!

VarmintGuyPeterC: Good luck with the shooting part of your beautiful Rifle! If it shoots half as good as it looks it will be a dandy!
I have some great 6mm Remington Benchrest loads if you need any suggestions in that regard.
Be sure and let us know how it shoots.
Hold into the wind
