Is it a single shot or can you feed from the mag? I have a 243 sako that the gun nut part of me wonders about 6mmnorma but I would need it to feed well from the mag.

Ben,
you didn`t steal it . I just lost it when the Forum was updated. Thought it was a bit sad because I have that nick on several other forums. As long as you like Sako`s its fine with me !
Anyway, was searching for just the type of rifle you have, but never found one, so I ended up buying a .308 Forester. Got it for a really good price so it turned out ok in the end. Glad you are satisfied. What bullets are you using?

To all of you,
thanks for the comments!

Well my rifles are all Sakos and one is a Tikka T3 so i must say i like em!

I got my L579 used from Finland in mint condition with only slight marks on the stock skrews!

pretty good for a 37 year old rifle!

PeterC: Good luck with the shooting part of your beautiful Rifle! If it shoots half as good as it looks it will be a dandy!
I have some great 6mm Remington Benchrest loads if you need any suggestions in that regard.
Be sure and let us know how it shoots.
Hold into the wind
