Varget is a little bit fast burning for 120's and up in the 260. I have had best results with H-4831/ RL-22 for both velocity and accuracy. I see you are in the UK what powders can you get in your area?

Try the SSTs with 42 to 43 grains of IMR-4350 or the 120s with 40.5gr Varget.

My load is 44.5 IMR4350 and a 125 gr. Nosler Partition. Works well on deer and antelope.

Gidday alshooter,

You have to try 45gr of H4350 behind the 120gr bullets. Its the most accurate load I have tried yet in the 260. Knocks deer over like magic.

36.0 Varget and 44.0 IMR4350 both shoot good with the 120's.
