cooper jackson game rifle
I went to my local sporting goods store today to kill some time. I saw a Cooper Jackson Game Rifle in 25-06. It had a nice one hole target with it. I sometimes think that they only fired one shot into it. Someone please talk me out of buying this rifle. I already have a Cooper 22lr and 223.

I have two 25/06 one a win mod 70 and the other a 1200 parker hale.
Both are great shooters.
if you dont own a 1/4 bore you really need one just to experience the muzzle blast with a full load of imr 4895

I've got a Cooper .222 that came complete with a similar one hole target. A call to Cooper revealed that testing is done at thier 42yd indoor range. Having said that, my sample is an honest 1/4 MOA shooter. Oh yeah, buy the damn rifle.

you didn't lust hard enough. A cooper pheonix with 150 rounds down the tube went for just over a grand about a week ago on gun broker. I really wanted it but decided I really couldn't afford to take the final step and buy it. This gun also came with a 26" tube.
Back to the original ? YES!!! if your wallet fits buy the damn thing. I have a varminter in 204 that's just boringly accurate.
I am condidering whittling down what I have now and buying their repeater.

Anything worth doing is worth doing right the first time.
