BiebsAnyone shoot a 222 Rem Mag?
Anyone use this caliber? I have new dies and 15 boxes of new Remington brass for it, but don't have one.

StonecreekSounds like you should obtain a rifle so chambered!
I own three of them (and have a couple of friends who also shoot this caliber.) All of us are greatly pleased with the performance of the .222 Magnum.

PeglegNeck them up to 6mm and barrel a rifle for such. It would be what many benchresters use to shoot. Quite accurate.

FOOBARI rechambered an NEF 223 to 222RM to straighten up a slightly oval, longthroated chamber. It shoots a WHOLE lot better in the 222RM configuration even with the ~0.003" fired case bulge.
I'm getting ~3350fs with several powders and 50 gr bullets in the 222RM...the 223 was giving ~3100fs...good comparison as the barrel is the same only the chamber was changed. Accuacy is running slightly over 1/2"/100yds, 5 shot groups.
Good enough for sage rats and not bad for an NEF single shot not totally tricked out.
Luck
