I have decided to give my 257 roberts a coyote load. I will use the Hornady 25 cal 75gr bullets Spire HP for my first test which should be tomorrow.
Powder i am going to try first is Win 760. hornady manual suugests you can go as high as 49gr with this bullet but I don't think I'll try and go that high. and i am loading with new brass. FS

I've shot quite a bit of 75gr through Bob, and also through an AI.
WW760 works fine, especially as it measures so well.
I prefer to use 4895, either IMR or H, but like H more, because it meters so well.
If I am loading for competitution, or at the beginning of winter for a lot of coyote hunting, I measure all my ammo.

H-414 or 760 will get the job done real good.
I use it with other weights as well.

I've been shooting 4895 with 75 grain bullets in the 257R since the late seventies. While not the fastest load with 75 grain bullets, a slightly less than max load is the most accurate load in my old Ruger 77. I've not tried any you listed, but I'd bet they will be just fine.

I've loaded as much as 55 grains.....but backed off to 53.5.....velocity at 3,600 FPS or there abouts.

I don't know how close to the lands I loaded.

Work up from 50.0 grains and use a magnum primer.

If 760 doesn't work, try 4O64. Worked for me.

I've not tried the hp on 'yotes. But the Vmax, same weight, can leave a big hole behind. Both through a regular bob, and an AI bob. Depends on if you like stitching holes I guess ( I never did).
