Is GS Custom getting into making .20 cal bullets?
I was just told this on the GGVG message board, and was wondering when we could expect these? He said they would be 36-40 gr and in the HV design. Since Mr. Schultz frequents these boards, maybe he will reply directly? Thanks.

Actually, what Mike said was: "I've been exchangeing emails with GS Custom. He said he would would make some 20 cals for me to try out. I asked that he make them based on his HV design and between 36-40 grains. I know he spoke to Shilen to get the excat bore dia.
Maybe if you email him also it might motivate him to hurry up and let him know there is an interest in this bullet."

There is no commitment to produce them, but if enough people request them Gerard just might accomodate them.

Here is the text of an email from George in October. I have not heard anything new since then. MikeW got the ball rolling with him, so he may know more.

The .204 bullets are on our new products development program. I received the exact bore and groove dimensions from Doug Shilen earlier today so I have all the information required to move ahead with the project. I will keep you posted.

Did I use their money converter correctly?
Anywhere from $40+ to $60+ for 100 of their
.22 bullets?

At that rate, what would GS Custom charge
for custom .204 bullets? Are the HV bullets
a hollow point?

Would love to have more than two choices
(Hornady 33g and Berger 36gr) for my
Tactical 20, but at what cost? So far, it's
done its best with the little Hornadys, at
a little over $14 a box.

Danno, yup, you got it. These aren't your average varmint fodder. They are a hollowpoint, in the same way that an x-bullet is a hollowpoint. I'd think of them more as a pelt bullet or a small game bullet than a varmint bullet. HTH, Dutch.

I'll email Gerard again and see where he is at with this. It's been awhile since I've heard from him. His last email just stated
he has been real busy but he hadn't forgot about them.

Gerard's response. Good news!

Hello Mike,
Thanks for the reminder, I have the bullet designed and need to run a batch
for testing. With our local hunting season starting at the beginning of May
and with some other distractions (car was stolen a week ago) we are
stretched pretty tight. I have not been visiting AR as I have not even been
able to keep up with incoming e-mail. Please send me your postal address as
well as that of your buddy so that I can get some prototypes to you as soon
as they are done. Let me know if I can assist with anything else.
Regards
Gerard
