GeorgeS30 minute poll. Please vote!
Okay, I'm going to order another Cooper tomorrow. I've already got a M-21 Varminter in .17 Mach IV, so I want to get a
Classic this time.
I've narrowed it down to the following cartridges:
1) 6PPC - accurate, great varmint bullets, low recoil, $$$$ brass
2) .221 Fireball - low recoil, economical, plenty of great bullets, $$ brass
3) .223 Remington - low recoil, plenty of great bullets, $ brass
This will be a "walking varminter" used mainly for 'chucks, with occasional crow and p-dog duty.
TIA,
George

.221 Fireball, without question.

Willie Bso, how long are you going to have to wait for the 223?

Curtis_Lemayso, who won, the 221, the 6ppc or the 223?

GeorgeSOverall, the .221FB won (I asked the question on other sites, as well).
However, I've decided to defer purchase until Cooper introduces a repeater. I already have a Cooper Varminter in .17 Mach IV, a T/C Contender in .223, and two sub-MOA Ruger #1s in .243 and .25-06, so I think I'm set as far as single-shots go.
