R FlowersI use both of the dies in question and they both work.
However, I have had some real problems with the Lee Collett dies in the past. I simply destroyed a set for a 7mmRem Mag trying to get enough neck tension. I blew the cheap aluminum top off it trying to size too much. Yeah, I know Lee will make smaller mandrels for you, but I wanted to reload right then and there. I also had a 22-250 collett die that started closing up and not letting the neck enter the collett, messed up some cases.
I have purchased a couple of sets of the Redding S-dies and find them to be of much better quality for sure. You can adjust how much neck tension you get by getting dfferent bushings and you can adjust how much of the neck you size by adjusting the die.
I would recommend the Redding bushing dies without hesitation. I need to order a couple more sets myself.
