Sm rifle magnum primers
Bought 3000 of these as they were a good deal at $30.00 per 1000. What are they used in, caliber wise? They are CCI 450.

Thanks Greg

I use them in my super accurate .222 & .223 Remington target loads.

IMO they are the "ultimate" Match grade primer for these two cartridges.

Anything that uses a small rifle primer. I might prefer using a standard primer in a .22 Hornet or .218 Bee, but if the "magnums" are all you've got, go ahead.

They will also do fine in handguns which have a strong enough firing pin strike to reliably stoke the harder/thicker cups.

Unless the pressures you are running in a particular load are borderline excessive already, you won't see any significant pressure spike with these primers as compared to a standard cap.
