Donald NelsonI have an AR15 built with a Shaw barrel. Mine shoots just fine for groundhogs out to 300 yards all day long. Never shot past that with it.

bartsche
A number that I have range from .7 moa to 1.375 moa (best loads). On most no attention has been given to bedding.
The latest which I have not fired yet was said to produce a 5 shot group that could be covered by a quarter at 100 yds. by the guy who put it together. It was a bedded 98 Mauser.

Donald NelsonI might mention my .257AI also has a Shaw barrel and shoots 5 shots well under an inch at 100 yards.

the jiggerMine is a varmint weight" drop in "Savage in 220 Swift. It shoots sub-moa out to 300yds. I have not shot beyond that except for a few prairie dogs. I have gotten kills at just under 400yds. I would certainly use another when the need arises.
GOOD LUCK and GOOD SHOOTING!!!
