Savage Mark II FV-SR.....
Do any of you guys have experience with the Savage Mark II FV-SR rifle?

http://www.savagearms.com/firearms/model/MARKIIFVSR

I really like the look and feel of the rifle.....and I like the fact that it comes standard with a short heavy barrel and that it's threaded for a silencer (should I wish to add one in the future).

It also has the AccuTrigger. Does anybody know what kind of accuracy this gun is capable of "out-of-the-box"?

If its anything like the MK 2 TR then its one hole at 50 yards with cheap Remmy ammo.

That is one cool looking Tree Rat killer tu2
I'm going to put that on my Santa wish list.

Cheers, John

I know many people who like the Savage rimfires. It looks nice, but most of those many people also don't think much of the stock. Too flimsy from what I've heard.

Love shooting precision and long range. Big bores too!

Recent college grad, started a company called MK Machining where I'm developing a bullpup rifle chassis system.
