Need a source for cheap 6.5x55 ammo.
I have a 6.5x55 coming next week and I want to shoot it bad. Locally no stores have ammo except one place has some Norma for $40 a box of 20!
Cabela's has the same and I tried J&G Sales who normally stock some Sellior & Bellot 131 grain soft points for about $11 a box of 20 but they are out for quite awhile. Any of you have a MailOrder source for some cheap stuff?

Thanks Forrest I just bought 100 rounds of the S&B stuff for $9.85 per box of 20, I feel better now I'll have ammo when my gun gets here!

sportsmansguide had PMC 6.5x55 with the 140gr Sierra boattails for $8 a box last year, I stocked up!

Do you plan on doing any reloading. If so keep in mind a lot of the European ammo contains Berdan primers which do not work for reloading purposes with our deprimers. I used to find some of my best buys in the Shotgun News. You'll find a wide range available there. If we order by mail we pay extra hazardous fees for shipping ammo. It's probably the same in the US. Best wishes.

I've got two full boxes and one almost full box. I think it is Winchester brand. I don't need it, as I don't have the gun anymore, so I will let it go for about 35 dollars shipped overnight via DHL.....
