CORNERSTONELooking for custom gunsmith
Wanting to build a custom rifle. Wanting to find some options to the big name builders. Maybe someone in an upstart shop. I am not looking for a deal on price just option to get a custom rifle by an up and comeing gunsmith to build it

BigNateThere are going to be a lot of choices I'm sure. This guy has been spoken of quite highly but I have not used him myself.
SkaggsLikewise for this one.
DuanesI don't know of anyone closer to you. Nate

gunmakerThis summer I quit my day job moved to South Dakota to start up full time gunmaking. Not sure where your interest is. This is the kind of rifle work I enjoy doing. It's a 30-338mag bedded in a sea of Bisonite and free floated.

dogcatcher223There are tons of good smiths out there. It just depends on the type of rifle you want. Gunmaker, that is a sweet gun you posted!
Here is another good smith that deserves a look:

7mm mashburnAs long as you are in PA give Tom Farmer a call in Emporium, PA. His shop is called Rytek. He builds longrange stuff but he will build anything you want and his work is great and prices I think are great too. He has done alot of work for me and I also bought his own 6-284. His phone (814-486-3188) his hours are 9am-2pm 3pm-6 or so pm
