Browning has some new information on their web site about the barrel life of the 223 WSSM in comparison to the 22/250. Very interesting reading, check it out.

Interesting, it shows the benefit of chrome lined bores.

I think it was Hornady that burned up six barrels trying to work up loading data for the .223 WSSM. I think they might disagree with Browning's claim that it is not a barrel burner.
