Well I've only ever shot one 257 WBY that my step brother has. SO I don't have very much experience with one. But his seems to like the heavier bullets the best. Explosive bullets like the ballistic tip just make jelly out of deer shoulders but they are very, very accurate. As long as it is a good quality bullet I would just go with which ever one shoots the best. just my 2 cents.

What Bullet is a good deer bullet. The 100,117,or the 120 gr
I was thinking the 117.I haven't shot any deer with my 257 WBY mag yet.
