can i load the K-Hornet with small pistol primers?
are they strong enaugh for the pressure of the K-Hornet

Yes, but I recomend the small pistol magnum variety.

You shouldn't run any higher pressures in a K-hornet than in a standard chamber. Pistol primers will withstand any pressure that the Hornet case will withstand sustainably.

I actually have much better results using small pistol primers in my 22k hornet

I preferred the small pistol primers in my old K Hornet, what a great little caliber that was. Wish I still had it..
