Z-Hat has 30/06 cylinder brass,

What would you make out of it?

Boom stick's .395 AMERICAN, which could use the .395/340-grain GSC FN to outperform the .375 H&H as an elephant basher. thumb

Z-hat makes 9.3x66 out of it. That's the best use I can think of!

I was just thinking along the simple lines of anything between .338-.375 with decent neck length for calibre, .455/30deg shoulder.
The short necks on the 9.3x62/66 dont do much for me.

woodjack,

the 9,3x66 makes sense if you would like a 9,3mm cartridge. 35 Whelen XL? 7x64?

Choices, depends on whether you want the extra work of designing a case and buying reamers and special dies...?
