6.5x55 BJAI = optimized for accuracy purpose the 6.5x55 AI ( 40� shoulder ); that a Bill JORDAN design

6.5 Arch short neck long body with 44� shoulder

6.5x55 AI regular AI design on BROAD military chamber with DEEP throat , not really the best

you can find too :
6.5/284 shoulder and neck with body downsize match for 6.5x55 base
that allow to use 6.5/284 die for loading and make a very nice IMP design with 35� shoulder .
6.5 ROGUE with 37� shoulder , PPG design with tight match dims

6.5 BR extra long wich is a6.5 BR reamer run deep to the 6.5x55 lenght ( 30� shoulder )

for all 6.5x55 check the chamber dims and throat location , original CIP , SAAMI are far too broad for accurate target shooting

When you plan to put money in a reamer the goal is to get the best at the final so Clymer ahve somtime ( too many time ) quality problem , reamer not really sharps , flutte not cut the same ... that perhaps OK for hunting chambering but when you plan to chamber a $$$$$ match barrel best is to SURE of the reamer .

I use PPG ( Dave Kiff ) Dave Manson and JGS ( JGS only for hunting rifle as regular SAAMI or CIP chambering ) but in all the case I recheck the reamers before to use them and quality of PPG and Manson are GREAT and both are real custommaker .

Just a slight correction to one of the above posts, its 'Bob' not Bill Jordan who designed the BJAI reamer. Bob is a staff writer with "Precision Shooting" magazine. When Bob was designing the BJAI he worked with Dave Manson who was at that time employed by Clymer Reamers. When the Clymer family sold the business, Dave went on his own in the manufacture of high quality reamers.
I certainly agree with Dantec that Dave Manson and Dave Kiff are both fine gentlemen and most knowledgeable in their field of endeavor. I have worked with both in designing wildcat cartridges and have been most pleased with their service and product. Their reamers cut thru CM and SS like a hot knife thru butter. I have not used the other reamer manufacturers so I can't comment one way or another.

40deg. shoulder allows for a lot of things.
Decrees brass flow; optimize accuracy, increased pressure, and lets not forget the cool factor.
Turning necks will depend on brass thickness, and chamber (neck) dimensions.
