jackfish280 Rem AI and 154 grain Hornady Interbonds
I've got 200 7mm 154 grain Interbonds. Does this work up load seem reasonable?
280 Remington Ackley Improved 40 degree
7mm 154 grain Hornady Interbonds seated .02" off lands
New Remington brass, fireformed
Winchester Large Rifle primers
54 grains WMR START
60 grains WMR MAXIMUM
I will work up carefully from START watching for signs of excessive pressure or velocity. Should be at about 2950 fps at MAXIMUM if I get there.
Thanks for any thoughts.

fredj338JF, I have a std. .280 that I have started playing w/ the 154grHIB. You might give IMR7828 a try in your AI. It has given me better vel. & good-exc. accuracy w/ 150-160gr bullets. I am getting just under 3000fps from my 23"bbl. W/ groups right @ 1MOA.

Ken ClineAlso RL22 is awesome in the 280 AI with 140 grain bullets, so I would think it would work well with the 150's as well.

jackfishI picked up 20 pounds of WMR for $180 so I am going to see if I can get something out of it. Thanks for the replies and good shooting.

CZECHTECHI have a 30" barrel 280A.I. and it seemed to do a little better than that with 154gr. SST's I tried RL-22 but I had the best luck with RL-25 believe it or not
