Try 44.5 gr of RL19 behind 55 gr Hornady V max bullets. Std Rem Lg Rifle primers, COL of 2.710", Win 243 brass. Gives me 3509 fps from a custom Rem 788. - Dan

Matt,

Years ago I worked up some loads for a guy who had a .22/.243 Mid. built on a Ruger #1 with a 26" heavy barrel. It was a 14" twist.

I shot bullets from 52 grains to 74 grains using MRP, and got all the velocity you could stand and good accuracy with Norma MRP. You could use Reloader 22 as well. I used WW .243 brass, but I won't quote loads because the components I used are from lots 30 years old. [Wink] Velocities were in the 3,600 to 4,050 fps range depending on bullet weight.
