canampopularity of the AR cartridges??
How are these wildcats doing popularity wise? Are they starting to take off? After the 375 rum case is necked up and shortened does it have to be annealed? Can the 475 be chambered in a ruger mk11 easily?
thanks

jeffeossocanam...
i can't say they are popcorn in a theatre, but they are now hunting in the US and Oz, and will be africa in the spring..
the 470 is an EASY redux on a ruger, and my personal 470 is on that platform.. the ruger is the easist, by far.
the 458 is the most practical... it feeds and bleds easy... but the .475 has special appeal..
all of the AR, including the 500 (rigby case, shortned and improved) have been done on at least 1 ruger..
the 416, 458, and 470 dies are available from hornady custom dies as well as ch4d, and I am trying to keep a stock of custom made 500 AR dies
if you are ever in or near houston, let me know, and I'll make a strong effort to get to the range with you
