Any other "short" variations of the 375Win case other than the IHMSA version? Wondering if there is something in the "38special" Length?

My dad and I developed our 375 Atomic back in 1997 (second from the left):



It's basically a 375 SuperMag cut back to 1.40". Here's a photo of the gun:

That is really cool LEE! I got a wild hair about getting a Marlin in 357mag and rebarelling, having the timing and elevator work done for a neat .375 levergun and was looking for a basis to start.

popcornOne of my wildcats is a .375 X 41mm. (1.625") .With a 300 gr gas checked cast bullet it will produce 2200 fps which is about the same energy level as the 30-06. beerroger

I thought the 2" 375 factory 200 grain load was 2200 fps. Please explain the discrepancy...
