270/338 Win Mag or 270 RUM

These two rounds interest me and I was wondering if anyone had any information on either.

.270 RUM? -Overbore problems-maybe?
.270-.338WM? -I am sure I'll get some differing opinions but I like the theory of headspacing off the shoulder rather than the belt. (I know its splitting hairs but just an opinion)

My vote would be a .270 Dakota......

The .270/338 would be a near twin to the 7mm rem mag.

I really can't see burning the amount of powder an ultra case holds in anything smaller then 30 cal, and really a 338 seems a better bet.
