Cartridges of the World says it's a 6mm Br (1.56")with a shorter neck, less body taper and a 40degree shoulder. Norma or Lapua brass is used.

Ballistics are only given with Quickload Data (which I feel are considerable high). For instance, 107gr Sierra at 3161fps, thats faster than most 243Win and 6mm Rem data.

And it will make a great set with the 7mm Dancer, 8mm Prancer, etc. LOL. Sorry, couldn't resist. - Dan

This round interests me also. Is there a 6.5 version and if so what is it called? Is it a one step fire forming process to blow the lapua brass out to the dasher dimensions...? I'll quit asking questions here and go google it.

Jeff.... The 6 dasher has the reputation as a bit of a throat eater. I would be satisfied with the 6BR and call it a day. Regards...g
