I have a Winchester classic action previously chambered in 7mm STW, and a 30" heavy Krieger barrel and was wanting input on a unique cartridge that would still allow long, heavy match bullets to fit in the magazine. The list or cartridges i'm mulling over are these:
1) 7mm rem mag ackley
2) 7mm x 300 win mag
3) 7mm x 300 win mag ackley
4) 7mm x 338 rem ultra mag
My reasoning behind this is I already have a custom 7mm rem mag, and want something different to play with. Of these the only ones I've heard of are #2 and #4. Any ideas welcome.
