7mm gradle express?
I found a case called the 7mm gradle express. I'm not sure on the spelling though. They were made from 348 win brass. They turned the bases to a rim very similar to the .300 WSM dimensions. Then necked down to 7mm and fire formed them to what is very similar to the weatherby shoulder contour. Anyone have any history on this case or designer?

IIRC, the developer was Roy Gradle and he designed a whole line of wildcats that were on the .348.
One thing that I remember reading was that the cases weren't originally fireformed but were formed hydraulically in a press after the rim was turned.
I think they died due as much to complexity as anything else.

They look like the cases can be formed from WSM cases though the WSM case would leave a shorter neck. I will add some pics when I get the time.
