For some reason I can not get this to post on the thread about the 9.3 Willson so I guess I will do it here. The .366 DGW is a direct neck down of the .416 Rigby. I have built 9 rifles chambered for it up to date and so far the cartridge has worked out very well. 97 grains of IMR 4350 pushes a 250 grain Nosler at around 3250 F.P.S. and gives 5875 F.P.E. At 500 yards this load still has 3050 F.P.E. If you want more info on this cartridge you can go to customguns.us

We have used Barnes bullets how ever the standard rate of twist which is 1 in 14" is too slow for the 286 grain slug and accuracy suffers. For that bullet which is almost 1/4" longer then a 300 grain Swift bullet is 1 in 12" which some barrel makers are making now such as Shilen I think.

Wow, that's like 378wby performance using less powder and with less pressure. Nicely done! I bet that's a real long range killer of the first order.

sounds like something Wbee may take a look at. A .366Wbee. This one makes sense as a real long range hammer. Think of it as a 200 yard elephant rifle.
