Has anyone played with them yet? Id like to think that a 7mmWSSM AI would be a perfect little round with a long throat. I think one of the main reasons that the WSSM family isnt doing so well right now is because of its LLOONNGG shoulder. Whats everyone elses thoughts on this?

You didn't hear it from me, but the real reason they aren't doing well is because the shooting community has decided to boycott them until Winchester makes a 6.5mm WSM (with a proper 26" bbl!).
A 7mm WSSM AI would do what it does perfectly, if that's the sort of thing you want and don't mind its shortcomings.

Well the WSSM taper is already less than the normal AI. I can't see how going from a 28 to 40deg shoulder will gain you much. Long throat maybe.
