Tip to cannelure of 350 Speer Magtip=0.74"



Tip to cannelure of 300 Barnes X=0.745"



400 Barnes solid don"t have cannelure but tip to full diameter band is 0.675"

Sounds like .75" might be the way to go. Likely most bulelts will be geared toward the Remington, the smallest denominator in this regard.

So, looking at a few of the 416's out there, measuring the difference between case length and max COL, and there's a lot of variance, between .75" to .85".
Would anyone be willing to tell me the lengths from cannelure to tip of some of there 416's?
I'd really appreciate it!
