So sorry. Was up to late, didn't read it right. My apologies. And I would be the last to say "don't do that, there are plenty rounds out there that already do that".

Heck, all my wildcats can be duplicated and/or bested by factory rounds. What the factory rounds typically can't do is fit in the action I want to fit them in. Like stuffing a 500 NE in an AR-10 or a .45-70 in an AR-15 ....

Back to your round, I like the short, stubby idea, and they indeed are proving themselves in terms of accuracy and repeatability. Good shooting! Keep us posted.

For more consistent powder ignition you could play around with the idea of using a flash tube.
