Ogre6brIs the 7x64 Brenneke and the 9.3x64 brenneke bassed on the same case??
HI
Are these two rounds based on the same basic case??
How does the 9.3x64 compare to the 9.3x62 in performance ??
Can these cartridges be chambered in standard length actions or do they need magnum length ones??
thanks

Karl SNo, they are not based on the same case. The 7mm is based on a .30-06 size/ type case, so is the 9.3x62. the 9.3x64 has a unique case design, slightly thicker from the head, all the way to the shoulders, than the "standard case. expect about 300ft/sec more MV from the x64 case. (also loaded to higher pressures I presume.) I wrote an article on the 9.3x64 a while back, I will try an post it.
