Can anyone give me more information on the Wildcat 22-4000 Schmitt (or Schmidt)? It is made from 6.5 M-S cases.

Con V. Schmitt Developed the Schmitt .22-4000 sometime before 1947. It as well as other wildcat cartridges by Schmitt are listed in Richard F. Simmons book "Wildcat Cartridges".
