ramrod340Don't have a clue what it is built on. Loadtech lists the case. 123.2grs water capacity. case is 2.86" and COL is 3.67. The show a max pressure af 47125.
Take all of that with a large grain of salt.
Midway lists the die. Calls it a 30-416 Rigby
As usual just my $.02

JLarssonAnd, if you didn't click on Frank's excellent link, it is based on the .416 Rigby. Cool.

ramrod340While his link is good it looses a lot of credibility when it's main reference is to a super high energy that is over stated by over 3000lbft. The 168@3850 actually has more energy.
As usual just my $.02

Norman ConquestSounds like it has some similarities to Ross Seyfreid's 30-416 Ackley Imp.40Deg.I toyed with that idea a few years ago but put on the back burner due to the cost of the case form dies.It may still happen but if so I intend to see if one could use 338 Lapua brass + possibly neck down in one stage.Any ideas on this?
