Email me the pics and I'll post them. Your case capacity should be close to the 30 Rem AR that has the same capacity as the 30-30. What velocities are you getting with the 35 and 375x41? I was thinking about the idea of necking up the 6.5x47 Lapua case to 35 and trimming it to 1.7" to get close to the 35 rem case capacity but in a case that is rated at 63k psi to split the difference between the 35 Rem and the 358 Win in a 2.25" action. A 41 mm version of the 284 case should get you 308 case capacity. Sounds like your 41 would make a great 6.8 and 25 pushing 100 grain bullets at 2800 ish. 577 BME 3"500 KILL ALL 358 GREMLIN 404-375 *we band of 45-70ers* (Founder) Single Shot Shooters Society S.S.S.S. Bartsche, What powders are you using in the 7x41? My 8x47 appears to be similar although it is based on a cut down 8 Rem Mag die on 284 brass and has a 25 degree shoulder. AA 2520, BL-2C, and W748 give exceptional velocity at 52 ksi in a 24 inch barrel.

among many are :WCC846 ( BL-C(2) ) acc 2520,data powder 2200,DP 74 (similar to 2520), wcc844 (335). ![]() ![]() I would think that H-380, both of the 4064s, 4320 and perhaps the 2 -4895s would work great in your rifle especially with the heavier bullets. ![]() Old age is a high price to pay for maturity!!! With the short 30-30, 35 rem, 6.8 and 25 and below diameters on your 41mm case these will be great for a micro 2.25" action 577 BME 3"500 KILL ALL 358 GREMLIN 404-375 *we band of 45-70ers* (Founder) Single Shot Shooters Society S.S.S.S. (Founder)

What rifle did you build this on? Did you have any problems with the feeding of cartridges from the magazine due the the short case length?

No the long bullet protrusion seems to take care of that nicely in the Mod. 98s and the Rem. 600 for the .375. ![]() Old age is a high price to pay for maturity!!! Some never pay and some pay and never reap the reward. Wisdom comes with age! Sometimes age comes alone..
