Re: 375 WSM vs 375 Taylor , which one?
Performance is about equal, but the taylor has the advantage for being much easier to form. In fact, I have made good Taylor rounds from 338 brass simply by seating 300 gr 375 boat tailed sierras directly into the .338 neck. In a pinch, you can pull 250 gr 338 bullets from a winnie case and seat 270 gr 375s and leave the charge alone. This violates an important handloading maxim, so pour off a few grains and work up to be safe.

In addition, the case capacity of the Taylor is less restricted with heavy bullets and the Taylor will do well with 350 gr 375 woodleighs if you need a stopper.
