Does any body have any real Data for using the 22 sabots in the 7.62x39

Would the barrel diameter have any bearing on accuracy with sabots ? The Non-American barrels are all .311 - .312 , as opposed to the US standardised .308 .

Curious if anyone has any data on this.

Yes I am sure it would but as it is a hand load only project, and I' using a 308 barrel. I don't think the .311-.312 barrel would work well with sabots.

I dont think the .311 barrel would make a difference b/c the sabots are oversized. Mine measured about .312. Make sure you dont have a proted barrel or muzzle brake on while shooting, I've heard horror stories about them coming out the side of the barrel.

I shot some .224s out of my .308 bore. I doubt I hit the VW microbus just 100 yards away. I wouldn't waste my time on sabots...
