Roger, I was thinking along those lines today. since I'm stepping to 338 then 308. Maybe I should outside turn at 30 cal prior to running up into the 264 die. See where that gets me.
As for the other suggestions I thought about running a reamer down from the top of the die with the decapping rod assembly removed.
