gumboot458.........What is already available pretty much has all the bases covered ,,338 Fedral,,338/06 . 338 Win Mag .330 Dakota ,,340 Whby ,,338 RUM ,, 338 Lapua ,, 338/378 Whby ,, 338 Excaliber ,, 8.59 [ I think it is ]Lazaroni...And now the 338 Ruger .........

....Arn,t many slots that arn,t well filled with the factory ammo thats available .....

MileHighShooterYou wouldnt be very far off of the 330 Dakota, or a 338/358 Yukon (RUM shortened to 2.5 necked to 358)

I see that the use of the ".338-375" name for such a cartridge is getting a little confusing. For example, there is another called the .338-375, with is also called the ".375 Taylor." Right here in this forum (Reloading pages) there is a .338-404.
However, the .338-375 with a .375 Ruger case makes for a very interesting cartridge.
