does anyone have hands on expeariance with this round. any info would be nice thank you.

.........What is already available pretty much has all the bases covered ,,338 Fedral,,338/06 . 338 Win Mag .330 Dakota ,,340 Whby ,,338 RUM ,, 338 Lapua ,, 338/378 Whby ,, 338 Excaliber ,, 8.59 [ I think it is ]Lazaroni...And now the 338 Ruger ......... bewildered....Arn,t many slots that arn,t well filled with the factory ammo thats available .....


.If it can,t be grown , its gotta be mined ....

You wouldnt be very far off of the 330 Dakota, or a 338/358 Yukon (RUM shortened to 2.5 necked to 358)

I see that the use of the ".338-375" name for such a cartridge is getting a little confusing. For example, there is another called the .338-375, with is also called the ".375 Taylor." Right here in this forum (Reloading pages) there is a .338-404.

However, the .338-375 with a .375 Ruger case makes for a very interesting cartridge.
