dan belisleWell, mine always worked best with 59 gr of IMR 4350 behind a 180 gr Speer. I see that nosler doesn't go that high in their new manual, so start at 52 gr abd work up. I've recently tried RL22, up to 62 gr with a 180 gr bullet, and that's worked out well, over 2900 fps (same with the 4350 load actually). - Dan

<Savage 99>There are loads in the Nosler and Sierra books among others and at
www.benchrest.com/sst/wildcat.htmlI load only the 200 gr Speer in mine and am using RL 19 with good results. IMR 4350 is always good with cartridges like that.

<3rgunman>I've got an Eddystone 1917 that really likes 165 nosler ballistic tips over 60.5 grains of 4350. No signs of pressure in my rifle but it is higher than max in the nosler manual.

Elk CountryI shooting 180gr. Hornady SP with 64gr. of RL22 from a 24" barreled Rem. 700 BDL. Velocities are right at 2900fps using Winchester brass. 3 shot groups are 3/4" consistently @100 yds. I tried IMR-4350 also and the groups were just as good, but the velocities were about 100fps slower.
Hope this helps,
Elk Country
P.S. I'm leaving friday (11/7) to take it on it's inaugural elk hunt. I'll let you know how it does!
