Wildcat question
Using the new Winchester 243 super short whatever, has anyone out there necked this up to 25 with a sharp shoulder?

Ah, but there's the rub. The OTTR's don't have a sharp shoulder. They have a curved transition from shoulder to neck that is similar to the P.M.V.F. (C.C.C.) cartridges that were so popular from about 1936 to the 1950's. The major difference with the OTTR's is that they are based on the modern cartridge cases, such as the WSSM's, BR's, etc. rather than the old workhorses of yesteryear. Mike has reported some truly excellent velocities and extremely tight groups from the Thompson barrels that he chambers.
