35X57 imp?
I was perusing the what cats do you load thread, and caught mention of this one, which I haven't seen mention of before.

As a 35 nut, I simply have to know more [Wink]

So, what type of gun, and what'll do? 250 gr @ 2400 fps?

The 35x57 will out perform the 358 Win. in weapons of similar strength. It will center between the 358 Win and the 35 Whelen.

I had one bulit but more like a 358x57 Improved. Minimum taper and 20 deg shoulder angle.Gunsmith was Fred Zeglin at z-hat.com

Look at the 9x57 post on this forum , this thing exists and shoots all .358 bullets you can think of.My Bullberry barrel likes the Hornady 180gr. spire points best , J�rgen
