I think it is just the legendary reputation of the H&H that has prevented a factory adopting the 375/338. It ought to be a winner for all the reasons that the "modern" 30 cal short magnums have eclipsed the 300H&H in performance.

I be interested in hearing experiences of anyone who has taken the .375 Chatfield-Taylor to Africa and hunted with it.
